My mom was on this really healthy diet called diet for idiots. She lost a good amount of weight very quickly. if you prefer to not go on a diet, drink a lot of water and do sit ups / walk before you go to bed.

You could try and eat healthier. And when you add some lemon or lime to your water, that's really heathly. And when your watching TV, you could do simple thing. Like jogging in place, sit ups, or any other small work out.

VITAMIN C ENRICHED FRUITS! YOU CAN ALSO EAT BROCCOLI! I HAVE NEVER BEEN OVERWEIGHT, BUT THAT IS BECAUSE I MUSH UP FRUIT AND MAKE A DRINK, OR I CUT IT UP INTO SQUARES AND EAT IT WHEN I HAVE A TASTE FOR SUGAR. I also eat raisins! One of my Dad's favorite treats.

WHEN I HAVE A TASTE FOR SALT, I EAT WHEAT THINS or crackers! I WAS RAISED ON HEALTHY FOODS, MY MOM NEVER ALLOWED US TO EAT HIGH SUGARY OR SALTY FOODS! SO, I DON'T HAVE ADDICTIONS TO SUGAR (ex. Lucky Charms, YUCK! How can someone eat those?) OR SALT, AND I CAN TASTE THE PROCESS IN PROCESSED FOODS, like T.V. DINNERS (what are those, anyway?)! YUCK! ANYWAY, FRUIT IS GREAT!

I have two ideas that should help:
1. Watch what you eat (skip high fat/sugar foods), maintain a good fiber intake (fiber prevents your body from absorbing calories and helps you feel full longer), and eat 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day.
2. In the mornings do a short bout of interval training (about 20 minutes) which will raise your metabolism for the rest of the day burning many calories.

One note is that you should not try to skip meals or severely cut calories because your body will go into starvation mode and start absorbing a larger percentage of the calories you intake. Starving yourself also can alter your electrolyte fluid balance which will damaging your heart.

You can do detox diets, eat fruits and veggies, and do mini cardo exercises when have time.

Step 1: Cut down on the amount of processed sugars and carbohydrates you eat.Step 2:Consume only small portions of starchy grains and vegetables, such as brown rice, beans, corn, and potatoes. Try to limit yourself to only one small serving of a starch per day.Step 3:Eat one portion of lean protein with every meal, and two portions of veggies.Step 4:Varying your menu will keep you from getting bored. Also, using lots of fresh herbs and good quality spices will make your meals more flavorful without adding fat.Step 5:For exercise, if you haven’t exercised in a while, start with something low impact, like walking. If you can, walk somewhere hilly so that your level of excursion varies. Pair your cardio workouts with strength training. Lifting light weights will increase your muscle mass. More muscle means you will be burning more calories every day, even while at rest.

Eat Enough Vegetables
Vegetables can play a huge role in helping an individual lose weight without dieting. This is because vegetables are very low in calories, especially green, leafy vegetables like spinach, kale and greens. Individuals can eat as many vegetables as they want in a day’s time without damaging their ability to lose weight. There are a few exceptions, of course, with potatoes and corn which are starchy vegetables and have more calories. Some vegetables are even negative calorie foods, which means they take more calories to burn than they have. Celery is a negative calorie food.
